If i was a color

Black is just THAT color. It’s classic and timeless. I like the ease of changing in an all-black’ outfit, because I know no matter what, it would look flattering. I love how black allows you to go a little over-the-top with your ensemble.

I know I know we are used to a lot of colors for this festive season we just finished, but I say you can wear all black anytime, don’t care if it’s in the middle of July you will still look all sorts of good things depending on themes you picked.

I thought I would keep it simple and stylish with matching all black everything though I wish I had a Cape Blazer Mid length so instead am just going to wear my blazer on shoulders.

So moving on, these are five rules to follow choosing an all black outfit, again I did not come up with these rules, and rules are rules baybe

-Vary the fabrics and textures. Nothing looks dowdier than an all-black outfit that is all cotton…

– On the fabric note, make sure the fabric selection is season appropriate. A black wool dress will look fabulous in the fall, but out-of-place during the summer. Silk and linen make it easier to pull off the all-black look during the warmer months.

– When putting together a black-on-black, fit becomes even more important. Take advantage of the fact that black is slimming and have the clothes be more fitted and flattering, rather than shapeless and drab.

-Add interest with accessories. Bold, colorful jewelry becomes the statement piece of your outfit. Colored stiletto heels are the go-to shoe with any black on black outfit.

– Make your outfit more dressy or casual with the simple change of lipstick color. A LBD (little black dress) can go from day (with a light pink lip stain) to night (with a bold, deep red lip) seamlessly.

I guess BLACK is always the new BLACK!
